Chelsea Sherman

Chelsea discovered pottery in high school and immediately realized it would be something she needed permanently in her life and wanted to share with others. She attended University of Montana studying Ceramics and Elementary Education. After teaching in elementary schools for 5 years, she opened her first community studio in Redmond, Wa in 2017 - finally marrying her two biggest passions - education and ceramics. As the studios have grown, Jon has jumped in full heartedly providing all the things Chelsea’s artistic brain lacks. In 2020 they opened the first 24hr Pottery, built solely to help adults carve time out for themselves with 24hr access and workshops to continue fostering each potters creativity and interests. Along with continuing to support their 5 Seattle locations, Chelsea’s new focus is to support studio owners with fine tuning their operation, build studio community, and creating new opportunities to get creative. When Chelsea isn’t in studio, she’s busy chasing her twin four year old's, Avery and Riley, and snuggling their new little girl Ari.
